How do differential circuit breakers work?

The principle of operation of differential circuit breakers is based on the continuous comparison of the current flowing in and out of the circuit. When a difference is detected (e.g., as a result of insulation breakdown or human contact with a live wire), the device immediately disconnects the circuit, preventing a threat to life and health.
