LED strips are a versatile lighting solution that works perfectly in both modern residential and commercial interiors. Thanks to their flexibility and the variety of colors and diode density, LED strips allow you to precisely define zone boundaries, illuminate furniture, and create atmospheric lighting effects. Integration with the Smart Home system allows you to control colors and brightness via an app or voice assistant, which increases the comfort of use.

Applications of LED strips

In kitchens, LED strips are mounted under cabinets – they then work with under-cabinet fixtures and furniture fixtures, ensuring even illumination of worktops. In living rooms and bedrooms, the light strip can be hidden in ceiling recessed lighting or in channel fixtures, creating a floating light effect. In stairwells, LED strips work perfectly with stair fixtures, providing safe illumination for every step.

Types and parameters

Strips vary in diode density (30–120 LEDs/m), light color (warm, neutral, cool, or RGB), and ingress protection class (IP20 to IP68). Hermetic models allow for installation in bathrooms and outdoor spaces, where they work with hermetic fixtures. Universal power supplies and CCT or RGBW controllers enable dimming, color changing, and the creation of automatic lighting scenes within Smart Home systems.

Mounting and Accessories

Installation of LED strips is simple thanks to the self-adhesive backing. For aesthetics, they are mounted in aluminum or plastic profiles – in recessed or surface-mounted options. Profiles can be ordered as components for channel fixtures or LED ceiling fixtures. Additionally, angle connectors, power supplies, and controllers (both remote-controlled and network-based with Smart Home integration) allow for full customization of the installation.

Integration in the lighting system

LED strips perfectly complement track lighting systems when subtle accents around light points are needed. In offices, they can be used as additional lighting near shelves or racks, creating elegant transitions between work areas. In restaurants and shops, they highlight display windows, counters, and decorative elements, and with Smart Home support, you can remotely adjust the light color to suit the mood of the event.
